Hm... I just wanted to say I still like DA, even though I have less time for it now. My studies are demanding most of my time, and my job and real life are pretty much taking up the rest, LOL. So if I fav 'n run, I'm sorry for that, I'm trying my best, promise.
I started to appreciate more of the 'original' art, but I still like fanart very much. And so, I wanted to share some good fanfics with you, all of which can be found on fanfiction.net. First, there is 'Team 8' (Naruhina) by S'TarKan. I think it might be the best fanfic I've ever read. Next is 'I've got you' (Kakairu, so yes, yaoi) by DarkAuroran. There are also a number of smaller fics I like, for example 'Red Snow' (Gaarhina) by Wencer and 'Nezumi' (Sasuhina) by aFlawedDesign.
The question I wanted to ask is this: do you know any great fanfics from either Naruto or Avatar? Because I would love to read something new! Pairings don't really matter in Naruto, with Avatar I only like Zutara!
Thank you so much for your help!
Love, Lilypipo

I would have loved to have seen a more adult ending, where Aang sacrificed himself, and with his death he really WAS the Last Airbender. It also would have meant NO Kataraang and I would have probably cried for Aang instead of been annoyed with him XD
I watched the spoof fourth book vid... man, they totally made fun of us Zutara fans XD It was funny, but at the end it was a bit of a slap in the face to fans who didn't like the ending, which kind of sucked a little >

"That's an interesting name, Dick. My bottom hurts just thinkin' about it..."
Aang sacrificing himself would've made him a true hero. He has beaten the Firelord now, but having strong powers is not what being a hero is all about. If he had sacrificed himself, he would be a hero by heart. Now he's just a kid that doesn't face his problems, runs away all the time and just happens to be the Avatar... Okay, that was harsh, but still, Toph and Sokka were willing to face possible death for the good cause, Aang just ran away a lot (the light was very cool, but at that point I allready figured Aang was going to live anyway). And ofcourse, if he had sacrificed himself, I would've cried for him. And then liked him more because then Zutara would've happened.
Yeah the end of the film wasn't funny. I'm able to laugh about myself for sure, but this wasn't a nice thing for them to make.
I am however really curious for the new end some awesome people out here are going to make. (Or did I allready mention that?

Zutara forever.
Oh yeah, I can laugh at myself too, but still, that ending was kinda mean. Like, I totally didn't get Zutara fans in the first season until that episode where they were in the cave together and he opened up to Katara (was that season 2? Can't remember). By three I was really really rooting for it, and thought it made more sense than Aang's thing AND it would have helped unite the world, you know? And since the title was the LAST Airbender, if Aang had died it would have been definite that he was the last, which is why I started to think "Wow, maybe they WILL kill him off."
I guess that's what I get for watching Avatar the same way I used to watch anime, where a main character dying isn't so unlikely.
I heard they've started casting for the movie, but they are mostly looking at no-name actors. Supposedly the movie will be out in 2010.

Yep, the cave was in the finally of season 2.
I kind of fell right into the show, somewhere in the middle of season 1. One of the first episodes I saw was the one with the pirates. The part where Zuko grabbed Katara's wrists, I was convinced they would make an awesome couple. So I was a Zutarian from the start, I guess. And when I started searching for the first episodes (which weren't aired anymore on TV in my country) I ended up here on this site.
Yeah, I wish the creators had gone with an anime-ending, where the hero does get hurt. But then again, in my opinion Aang isn't the hero of the show. He's just a kid that happens to be the Avatar. He never had any hard times where he had to make difficult choices, and when things got a little tough he ran away. And then he gets the girl and lives hapily ever after?! Ugh, that is not a good end. So I am really hoping the new end will be better!
